  • Promotes illegal activities or substances
  • Facilitates fraud, scams, or deceptive practices

Harmful Content

  • Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm
  • Provides instructions for creating weapons or explosives
  • Encourages dangerous or harmful activities

Abusive Content

  • Harasses, bullies, or threatens others
  • Contains hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Exploits or endangers minors in any way
  • Contains non-consensual intimate imagery

Deceptive Content

  • Impersonates another person or organization
  • Contains false or misleading health/medical advice
  • Spreads misinformation or disinformation
  • Uses deceptive tactics to collect personal information

Adult Content

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Content intended to sexually arouse
  • Graphic violence or gore

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not engage in activities that:

Spam and Abuse

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages or communications
  • Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions
  • Artificially inflate views, completions, or other metrics
  • Scrape or harvest user data without authorization

Security Violations

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
  • Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities
  • Circumvent security measures or access controls
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

Platform Abuse

  • Use automated tools (bots) without permission
  • Overload the Service with excessive requests
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to compete directly with Stepsies

4. Lead Capture Guidelines

If you use lead capture features, you must:

  • Clearly disclose what information you’re collecting and why
  • Obtain proper consent before collecting personal information
  • Comply with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, etc.)
  • Honor opt-out requests promptly
  • Not sell or share collected information without consent

5. Embedded Content Guidelines

When embedding guides on external websites:

  • Ensure you have the right to use the embed on that website
  • Do not modify or tamper with the embed code
  • Do not remove or hide Stepsies branding (Free tier)
  • Do not use embeds on websites that violate this policy

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take action against violations of this policy. Actions may include:

  • Warning: Notification of the violation
  • Content Removal: Removal of offending content
  • Temporary Suspension: Temporary restriction of account access
  • Permanent Termination: Permanent removal of account and content
  • Legal Action: Reporting to law enforcement if required

The severity of action depends on the nature, frequency, and intent of the violation. We may take action without prior notice in serious cases.

8. Appeals
