Terms of use

Print 10 sheets a month with a free account, at home or in your own classroom. The Unlimited plan prints without a limit. A school or organization that wants access for all its teachers needs a licensing agreement.

Home and classroom use is free

You may view any worksheet, and print worksheets for your own use, for your own children at home, and for the students in your own classes, at no cost: one sheet with no account, then 10 sheets a month with a free account. A sheet and its answer key count as one, and printing the same sheet again in the same month does not count again.

The Unlimited plan

The Unlimited plan prints without a limit, for $10 a month or $80 a year in the United States, plus sales tax where it applies. The pricing page shows the price and currency where you live. It covers one person: a parent and their own children, or one teacher and the students in their own classes. It renews each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on your account page, and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your account ends the plan at once, and the time left is not refunded. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Your account

Printing more than one sheet, answer keys and quiz answers need a free account. You sign in with your email address, or with Google or Apple. You can delete your account at any time on your account page. See the privacy page for what an account keeps.

School-wide and commercial use

A teacher may use the worksheets with the students in their own classes, with a free account or the Unlimited plan. A school, district or other organization that wants access for all its teachers needs a licensing agreement with us. So does a tutoring company or other business, and anything you sell. Ask for a quote or email [email protected].

What you may not do

• Sell the worksheets, or include them in anything you sell, without a licensing agreement.
• Post the worksheet files or pages on another website or service.
• Remove the Stepsies name from a worksheet, except through the settings of an organization plan.

Curriculum references

• Stepsies is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by any government, ministry or department of education, education agency, school board, or other body that writes or publishes a curriculum, including the Ontario Ministry of Education, the Texas Education Agency, the Texas State Board of Education, the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices and the Council of Chief State School Officers.
• Where a page names a curriculum, grade or subject, it does so only to describe the topics a worksheet covers. It does not state or promise that a worksheet meets, satisfies, is aligned to or is approved for any curriculum, standard, assessment or requirement.
• Descriptions of what students learn are written by Stepsies in our own words. They are not the official text. They may be simplified or incomplete, and they may not reflect the latest version of a curriculum. For what is required, read the official documents published by the education authority.
• The names of curricula, standards, assessments and education authorities belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
• Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content.

College and university guides

This section applies to the college and university guides at /college and /universities (the “guides”), in addition to the rest of these terms. If this section and the rest of these terms differ, this section applies to the guides.

• Agreement. You may use the guides only if you agree to these terms. You agree by selecting “I agree” or by using the guides. If you do not agree, do not use the guides. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the guides only with a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for you and for themselves.
• Information for convenience only, as is. The dates, deadlines, fees, policies, requirements and other information in the guides were gathered from public sources for your convenience. They are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that any of it is accurate, complete, current or suitable for your situation. Colleges, universities, application services and government agencies set and change their own dates, fees and rules at any time, without telling us.
• Check the official source. Before you apply, pay, submit a form, choose a plan or make any other decision, you must check each date, fee and requirement on the college's or university's own website and with the official organization, such as the Common App, the College Board, Federal Student Aid or OUAC. You alone are responsible for meeting every deadline and requirement.
• No advice. The guides are general information. They are not admissions, financial, financial aid, tax or legal advice, and they do not create any professional or advisory relationship.
• No affiliation. Stepsies is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any college, university, application service, testing organization or government agency named in the guides. Their names are used only to identify them.
• Your risk, and no liability. You use the guides at your own risk. To the maximum extent that the law allows, Stepsies and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind that comes from the guides or from relying on them, including a missed or wrong deadline, a rejected, late or incomplete application, a binding commitment, lost or reduced financial aid or scholarships, or fees paid. To the maximum extent that the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the guides is zero dollars (USD 0).
• Release and indemnity. To the maximum extent that the law allows, you release Stepsies and its operator from all claims about the guides. You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Stepsies and its operator from any claim, loss or cost, including reasonable legal fees, that comes from your use of the guides or your breach of these terms.
• Time limit and individual claims. To the maximum extent that the law allows, any claim about the guides must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred. Any claim must be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective or representative action.
• Record of your answer. When you select “I agree” or “I do not agree”, we keep a record of your answer, as the privacy page describes.
• Governing law. This section, and any claim about the guides, are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of laws rules. To the maximum extent that the law allows, the courts of the Province of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
• Changes. We may change this section at any time. A new version applies from when it is posted, and we may ask you to agree again.
• Severability. If any part of this section cannot be enforced, the rest of it still applies, and that part applies to the greatest extent the law allows.

Class games

This section applies to the class games, such as the typing game and the math facts game, when a teacher starts a game and students join it with a code, in addition to the rest of these terms.

• Who may start a game. Only an adult with a Stepsies account may start a class game, for students in their own class or their own children. By starting a game, you confirm that you have the authority of your school, or of the parents or guardians where your school or the law requires it, for your students to take part, and that you have any consent that the law requires. You are responsible for supervising your students while they play.
• No personal information. Students take part under the made-up names that we give them. Do not ask students to type their names or other personal information anywhere in a game, and do not type personal information in a game’s settings or word lists.
• Scores and games as is. Games, rounds, leaderboards and scores are provided “as is” and “as available”. A score may be missing, late or wrong, for example on a slow or filtered network, and a score that we judge impossible is not kept. A game ends 12 hours after it starts, and its data is deleted after 7 days. We may change, suspend or end any game or feature at any time. Do not use a score for grading, assessment or placement.
• Your risk, and no liability. You and your students use the class games at your own risk. To the maximum extent that the law allows, Stepsies and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind that comes from the class games, and our total liability for any claim about the class games is zero dollars (USD 0).
• Release and indemnity. To the maximum extent that the law allows, you release Stepsies and its operator from all claims about the class games. You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Stepsies and its operator from any claim, loss or cost, including reasonable legal fees, that comes from a game you start, from your students’ use of it, from anything you type in it, or from your breach of these terms.
• Time limit and individual claims. To the maximum extent that the law allows, any claim about the class games must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, and only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective or representative action.
• Governing law and severability. The governing law and courts in the section on the college and university guides also apply to this section. If any part of this section cannot be enforced, the rest of it still applies, and that part applies to the greatest extent the law allows.

No warranty

The site and the worksheets are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep them accurate, but we do not promise that they are complete, free of errors or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for deciding whether a worksheet suits your students or your child.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Stepsies and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or being unable to use, the site or the worksheets, including any decision about teaching, assessment, grading or placement.
