Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how we handle refund requests for Stepsies subscriptions and purchases. We want you to be satisfied with our Service, and we evaluate refund requests fairly and reasonably.

1. Subscription Refunds

Monthly Subscriptions

For monthly subscription plans, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal if:

  • The Service did not work as described
  • You experienced significant technical issues we could not resolve
  • You were charged in error

Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscription plans, you may request a prorated refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. After 30 days, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are generally granted when:

  • You were charged incorrectly or multiple times
  • The Service experienced extended downtime or outages
  • A feature you relied on was removed without notice
  • You have a legitimate reason and request is within the eligible timeframe

Refunds may be denied if:

  • Your account was terminated for violating our Terms of Service
  • You simply changed your mind after extensive use
  • The request is outside the eligible refund window
  • You have a history of repeated refund requests

3. Refund Timeframe

We can only process refunds for charges made within the past 364 days. Requests for charges older than 364 days cannot be accommodated due to payment processor limitations.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  2. Include your account email address
  3. Specify which charge you’re requesting a refund for
  4. Explain the reason for your request

We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days, though it may take longer for the refund to appear on your statement depending on your bank.

5. Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refund to the original card
  • PayPal: Refund to your PayPal account

We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method than the one used for the original purchase.

6. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation: Stops future billing. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining time.

Refund: Returns money for a past charge. Your subscription may be cancelled, and access may be revoked depending on the refund type.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation does not automatically result in a refund.

7. Free Tier

The free tier of Stepsies is provided at no cost. Since no payment is made, there is nothing to refund. If you upgrade to a paid plan and later downgrade, the policies above apply to any paid period.

8. Disputes

If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider (chargeback), we may suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any billing issues directly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
