What is on the test

• Part A, multiple choice: 20 questions. Circle the letter of the right answer.
• Time limit on the sheet: 10 minutes. Use it, or give no time limit.

Skill check

The last part of the sheet is for you. It says which questions test which skill.

• Questions 1–19: Multiplication facts. Common Core 3.OA.C.7; TEKS 111.5(b)(4)(F).
• Question 20: Division facts. Common Core 3.OA.B.6, 3.OA.C.7; TEKS 111.6(b)(1)(F).

How to use it

1. Print one copy for each student.
2. Read the instructions for each part with the class.
3. Mark the test with the answer key. Write the score out of 20.
4. Look at the skill check. Find the skill with the most mistakes and teach it again.
5. Print Version B for a retest. It asks new questions on the same skills.

Use it as a timed test, like a mad minute, or as a quiz with no time limit.
