How to use this sheet
- Have the child read the label of each circle or row and say it as a question: is it even? is it more than 20?
- Test each number against both labels before placing it.
- Have the child check the overlap last: which numbers fit both?
Common mistakes
- Putting a number that fits both labels in only one circle. It goes in the overlap.
- Leaving out numbers that fit neither label. They go outside the circles.
- Reading a Carroll diagram row as a column.
