How to use this sheet

  • Have the child read the whole sentence before choosing the word.
  • Give each pair a memory trick, such as "there" has "here" in it, and both words name a place.
  • Have the child write their own sentence with each word.

Common mistakes

  • Mixing up their, there and they’re. They’re means they are; their shows ownership; there is a place.
  • Mixing up to, too and two. Too means also or very.
  • Mixing up your and you’re. Read you’re as "you are" to check.
